NEW YORK - (AP) - The National Weather Service has issued anotherheat advisory for New York City.

The weather service says temperatures are expected to go as highas 95 degrees. Factoring in humidity, it could be evenmore of a scorcher.

City officials say air-conditioned public buildings will open at9 a.m to help people cool down.

The weather service says the temperature in New York reached 94degrees Monday and the heat index climbed to 96. Thetemperature is expected to drop to the 80s on Wednesday.

It is the second heat advisory so far this August.
