NEW YORK - The city's Puerto Rican community is up in arms over a new beer logo.

Coors, a sponsor of the city's annual Puerto Rican Day Parade, has printed an image on its beer cans that shows the Puerto Rican flag draped over an apple.

Members of Boricuas for a Positive Image say the logo is an insult to all Puerto Ricans and goes against the parade's theme of celebrating health.

Coors told the Daily News it was demonstrating its official alliance and support of the organization.
