THE BRONX - Police are on the hunt for a gunman who fatally shot a man in Bedford Park Tuesday night.

According to authorities, shots rang out at Bainbridge Avenue and East 197th Street at around 11:30 p.m. They say a 40-year-old black man was found with a single gunshot wound to the torso and died at the scene.

Cops say it's unclear whether the victim was the intended target or got caught in the crossfire.
