THE BRONX - Police are trying to track down two suspects who are wanted for an armed robbery in the Bronx.

Investigators say the two held up a store in Williamsbridge and made off with thousands of dollars.

Police say the two suspects first tried to rob a man who was drinking coffee outside of the store on Burke Avenue. One of the suspects held up a gun and demanded money from the 51-year-old victim, who responded by throwing his coffee at the suspect.

That's when the second suspect held the victim back. The first suspect then entered the store and stole thousands of dollars in cash before they both fled.

Police have released surveillance images of the suspects. Anyone who has information on the robbery or can identify the suspects is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
