Cops: 7 arrests made in anti-gay beating

THE BRONX - Police say they have arrested several gang members who were responsible for an anti-gay beating in the Bronx.

Police say they have seven members of the Latin King Goonies in custody and are still looking for two more people. They say the suspects robbed at least three people because they were gay.

According to police, the suspects brought two 17-year-olds to an apartment at Osbourne Place where they forced them to strip naked. Police say the victims were then assaulted, sodomized, and questioned about possible sexual relations with a 30-year-old man the suspects later lured to the apartment to assault.

Police say they found the suspects from a phone number someone gave detectives.
