Cops: 9 middle school students arrested for attacking teen

THE BRONX - Police say a group of middle school students from P.S. 186 have been arrested for assaulting and robbing one of their peers yesterday. Investigators say the group of nine suspects ganged up on a 14-year-old Bronx teen on Boston Road. They say the victim was kicked and punched repeatedly, suffering injuries to his back and face. The boy's hat and shirt were also stolen, police say. Police say the nine students will be charged as juveniles in Bronx Family Court. They have not released the identities of the victim or his attackers, nor have they said what specific charges the suspects are facing.
