THE BRONX - Police say they have arrested a teenager in connection with the Wednesday night shooting at Bronx Lebanon Hospital that injured two people.

Authorities say 19-year-old Michael Wayman is being charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

According to police, the shooting was gang-related. They say it carried over into the hospital's emergency waiting room after an argument between Wayman and the intended target earlier that day .

Two hospital employees were shot. A 42-year-old security guard and a 37-year-old nurse both suffered minor wounds, but will be OK.
