Cops bust teen in Soundview bus-stop shooting

SOUNDVIEW - Police say they have arrested a teenage boy in connection with a Soundview bus-stop shooting last Wednesday.

Investigators say 16-year-old Daryl Samuels ran off the Bx5 bus with two other suspects, one of which had a gun. They say moments later, shots were fired into a crowd of about 30 people, two of which were hit by bullets.

Documents from the Bronx district attorney's office show Samuels has been charged with numerous counts of attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police are urging anyone with information regarding the two other suspects to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-8477.
