Cops hunt for hammer-wielding men in livery cab robbery

THE BRONX - Cops are on the hunt for two suspects who threatened a livery cab driver with a hammer and robbed him last Saturday.

According to authorities, two Hispanic men got into the cab on East 163rd Street and Southern Boulevard and told the driver to take them to Duncomb and Barker avenues. Once there, they put the victim in a chokehold and took off with his property and his car.

Police are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
