Cops hunt for suspect in rash of home burglaries

Police are searching for a man that they say is responsible for a rash of home burglaries in the Norwood section of The Bronx. According

THE BRONX - Police are searching for a man that they say is responsible for a rash of home burglaries in the Norwood section of The Bronx.

According to authorities, the suspect struck three homes on Perry Avenue, another on Decatur Avenue and a fifth home on Parkside Place between Aug. 21 and Sept. 22.

Police say the suspect breaks in through the front door and mostly steals cash and jewelry.

Officials say the suspect was caught on surveillance video at one of the scenes. He is described as a Hispanic male between 30-40 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and around 200 pounds.
