Cops hunt for suspects in shooting of young BX boy

THE BRONX - Police are searching for suspects in an apartment shooting that left an 11-year-old Bronx boy hospitalized last night. Surveillance video shows two hooded men entering 2735 Creston Ave. at around 11 p.m. The men are seen heading to the second floor, talking to each other and then making a dash out of the building. Authorities say four shots were fired into the door of apartment B5, one of which struck the boy in the chest. The child was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center and is listed in serious condition. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
