Cops: Man fatally shot while waiting for bus

THE BRONX - Police are searching for suspects after they say a Bronx man was killed while standing at a bus stop in Wakefield Monday night.

According to authorities, 50-year-old Jeffrey Taylor was on his way to work as a media technician at HBO when a man on a bicycle rode by and shot him. Family and friends say they can't believe something like that could happen to such a sensitive, caring man.

HBO released a statement saying, "We are shocked and saddened by this tragic incident. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jeff's family, and his HBO family will greatly miss him."

Police are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
