Cops: Man tied up, robbed in Melrose home

Police are on the hunt for a suspect who they say tied up and robbed a Bronx man in his own home. According to authorities,

THE BRONX - Police are on the hunt for a suspect who they say tied up and robbed a Bronx man in his own home.

According to authorities, the man saw the 46-year-old victim going into his apartment on April 13 and took the opportunity to push him through the doorway. They say the suspect punched the victim multiple times, and stole cash and electronics.

The suspect fled the scene in a white van. Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
