Cops: Man wanted for hotel rape in Morrisania

THE BRONX - Police are asking for help tracking down a man who allegedly raped a woman in a Bronx hotel room.

According to authorities, the victim had a short conversation with the suspect at the Union Square subway stop in Manhattan before taking the train to Morrisania. The victim says she heard a knock at her hotel room door at around 4 a.m. and that the man forced his way in when she answered.

The suspect was caught on surveillance video and is described as a black man, about 30 years old, with a tattoo of the name Tiffany on his left forearm and a tattoo of the name Ivan on his right shoulder.
