Cops probe deadly accident on Hutchinson parkway

THE BRONX - Police are searching for clues in connection to a car accident on the Hutchinson River Parkway Sunday night that left one unidentified woman dead.Police say the accident left the woman?s car wrapped around a tree on the northbound side of the parkway. Witnesses say the woman?s car was so mangled, it was difficult to tell what make or model the car was. Police had to cut parts of the tree with a chainsaw in order to remove the severely damaged vehicle.The incident occurred between Exits 5 and 6, backing northbound traffic up three exits. Southbound traffic was also affected, with many drivers trying to see the accident. Officials have yet to find a cause of the accident.
