Cops search for necklace bandit in The Bronx

Police are on the hunt for a pajama-clad bandit who they say has been ripping the chains right off his victims' necks. According to investigators,

THE BRONX - Police are on the hunt for a pajama-clad bandit who they say has been ripping the chains right off his victims' necks.

According to investigators, the suspect was caught on video robbing a 52-year-old woman and then jumping into a black SUV in Bedford Park on March 13. They say he then snagged the necklace off another victim on 178th Street and Honeywell Avenue in East Tremont five days later.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 130 pounds. Cops say the getaway driver is a 30-year-old black male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 220 pounds.
