Cops: Woman arrested in fatal stabbing

FORDHAM - Police say they have arrested a woman in the fatal stabbing of a Bronx man last night.

Authorities say Johanna Rivera, 26, is being charged in the murder of 35-year-old Gabriel Sherwood.

Rivera allegedly stabbed Sherwood in the chest inside the lobby of 2460 Grand Ave. at around 6 p.m. Sherwood's partner says the victim was targeted because he's gay.

Police say they are also looking for a second suspect in the case. Anyone with information about that suspect is asked to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
