Crews ready for snow that doesn't arrive in BX

THE BRONX - Road crews were ready Saturday for the snowstorm that slammed the nation's capital, but it never arrived.

The bulk of the storm stayed to the south and other parts of the five boroughs saw up to 6 inches. A winter weather advisory for the Bronx was canceled Saturday as the forecast changed.

The area only saw a dusting to 1 inch of the white stuff.
