Cross Bronx Expwy. reopened after truck fire snarls traffic

THE BRONX - A major section of the Cross Bronx Expressway was closed today following a truck fire, snarling rush hour traffic.

The expressway was closed near the Sheridan Expressway after the fire started at around 4 p.m. The closure caused heavy delays through rush hour.

Investigators say one person is being treated at Saint Barnabas for smoke inhalation.
