Crotona Park community hosts Teacher's Appreciation Day

Parents and school administrators teamed up with the church-led group Iglesia Ni Cristo, or Church of Christ, for National Teacher Appreciation month in the Crotona

THE BRONX - Parents and school administrators teamed up with the church-led group Iglesia Ni Cristo, or Church of Christ, for National Teacher Appreciation month in the Crotona Park community.

Students helped kicked off the campaign through music, poems, and personal tribute messages to their teachers. Some parents and school administrators also demonstrated their support and appreciation by donating some much needed school supplies for their teachers' classrooms.

May is National Teachers Appreciation month.
