THE BRONX - Bronx Community College faculty and students protested Gov. David Paterson's proposed budget cuts during his commencement address at the school.

The protesters rallied near the University Avenue pedestrian entrance to the school. Participants say they are upset over proposed staff and service cuts to CUNY colleges.

Paterson says the cuts are necessary during the state fiscal crisis.
