NEW YORK - After a weekend of strong online sales, retailwebsites are continuing the trend on "Cyber Monday" to drawbuyers.

The sales promotions on the Monday after Thanksgiving got theirname from a retail trade group, which promoted the idea thatpeople, upon returning to work, would log onto their computersthere and shop.

Last year, consumers spent more than $800 million in online shopping. Many retailers are extending the deals all week and even through the holiday shopping season.

Now it's about the deals online in the way that Black Fridaymeans a shopping frenzy in stores. Many stores that only exist online such as Ebay, Amazon and are offering deals as good as those offered by other retailers on Black Friday.
