Deadly drunk driver could get plea deal

Lawyers are discussing a plea deal for Carmen Huertas, a Bronx woman who crashed and killed her 11-year-old passenger.The accident killed Leandra Rosado in October

BROOKLYN - Lawyers are discussing a plea deal for Carmen Huertas, a Bronx woman who crashed and killed her 11-year-old passenger.

The accident killed Leandra Rosado in October 2009. Police say Huertas was driving drunk at the time. There were seven other girls in the car with her.

Laywers are discussing a guilty plea to manslaughter, which is the highest charge against Huertas.
