Dean Avenue fire victims receive outpouring of community support
THE BRONX - Fellow neighbors are stepping up to help three Bronx families who lost everything in a fire last week.
Flames ripped through a multi-family home at 1020 Dean Ave., injuring 16 people during the height of a snowstorm last Thursday.
St. Benedict and St. Frances De Chantal churches are accepting donations, and have already received an outpouring of support from people dropping off clothes, shoes, furniture and money.
