Decomposed body found in car trunk

THROGS NECK - A decomposed body was found Wednesday in the trunk of a car that residents say has been parked on a Throgs Neck street for months.

Investigators from the district attorney's office arrived at Randall and Edison avenues around 2 p.m. Authorities say the 30-year-old man's body was found stuffed in a suitcase in the trunk.

According to officials, both the livery cab and the victim were reported missing three months ago.

Residents say they have been complaining to local police about the car left parked in their neighborhood, but their calls went unheard.
