THE BRONX - Bronx residents braved a bitter cold blast that hit the borough.

Some tenants at a Webster Avenue apartment building say their homes have been without heat for 10 days. The landlord has blamed the lack of heat on a broken boiler that he can't afford to repair since some tenants haven't paid rent.

Some residents say you have to be mentally prepared to deal with the frigid temperatures, but others say it's not that easy.

"It's unbelievably cold, unbelievable," says one resident. "We come from the summer country of Bangladesh."

To report heat problems, call 311.
