THE BRONX - A family displaced by a fire in Fordham says they're terrified that demolition is the next step for their home.

A full vacate order has been posted at 15 East 184th St., which was one of three buildings damaged when flames broke out in a vacant house next door. The family says theDepartment of Buildings (DOB) now wants to tear down what's been their home for more than 20 years.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but officials say it doesn't appear to be suspicious.

News 12 reached out to the DOB about a possible demolition, but has not yet heard back.
