THE BRONX - The New York Department of Labor has launched a mobile application to help young adults land a summer job.

The Urban Youth Jobs Program connects unemployed young adults between the ages of 16 to 24 with potential employers.

In order to be eligible, the job seekers must receive a certification by the program before applying to available jobs.

Businesses recruiting can receive a tax credit of up to $5,000.
