THE BRONX - The Department of Transportation is now conducting a field inspection in a Bronx neighborhood that has been without a street light for over a year.

Residents on Dekalb Avenue in Norwood have expressed concerns over how dark the streets have become without the assistance of a light. The previous light was removed last year and has not been replaced.

The DOT will determine whether another light is needed in the neighborhood.
