Development program to give BX businesses a big boost

THE BRONX - Small Bronx businesses may soon be getting a big boost.

City Council members Annabel Palma and James Vacca are sponsoring a merchant business development program, as part of a joint effort with the Bronx Chamber of Commerce to revitalize commercial neighborhoods in the borough.

Council members say up to $100,000 is expected to go directly to the commercial districts.
