THE BRONX - Latino senior citizens in The Bronx celebrated at Yankee Stadium today because they are living healthier lives, thanks to classes offered in the community.

Many residents with the disease got to take a six-week class from IPRO, a Medicare-funded quality improvement organization.

The classes were designed to provide residents with tools they need to enjoy life to the fullest, while living with diabetes.
