DIVA Spa opens doors for domestic violence awareness

THE BRONX - The 9th Annual DIVA Spa opened its doors today to raise domestic violence awareness among women, while making them feel beautiful.

The Bronx County Building was transformed into a full-service spa with manicures, massages and makeovers for those who came in.

The spa was open to the public and also had information centers for those looking for help.

Experts say the spa is a perfect way to empower women to help each other.

If you want to report a case of domestic violence, you can call 1-800-621-4673.
