THE BRONX - The state Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is warning Bronx pedestrians of the most dangerous areas in the borough.

According to statistics, Community District 4 is the worst for those traveling on foot. Officials say Concourse, Highbridge and Mount Eden had the most pedestrian-involved crashes between 1999-2009 with more than 2,900.

However, not all areas of The Bronx are dangerous for walkers. Statistics show Riverdale, Fieldston and Kingsbridge are the safest.
