THE BRONX - Doctors say they see the most damage to eyes during the summer months due to exposure to ultraviolet rays.

Experts at Metro Optics in Westchester Square say that those most at risk for eye damage caused by UV light include people who work outside, have blue eyes or take certain medications.

They also say that keeping eyes hydrated with drops can be beneficial.

Doctors say sunglasses should be worn year-round, not just in the summer months.
