THE BRONX - Doctors are urging everyone to take care of their skin as part of National Melanoma Awareness Month this May.

According to health experts, including Montefiore Medical Center's Dr. Karthik Krishnamurthy, melanoma is one of the fastest growing cancers in the U.S., and it's important for all skin tones to start prevention early.

Dermatologists say the best way to shield against melanoma is sunscreen, sunscreen and more sunscreen, especially during the summer months ahead.
