VAN NEST - A dog poop problem is plaguing the sidewalks in one Bronx community.

People living along Hunt Avenue say they are constantly dodging piles of dog poop while walking the streets in Van Nest.

A $250 fine is tagged to those who do not clean up after their pets.

Community Board 11 says to contact it if a pattern begins to form in a specific area. It will then contact the Sanitation Department, which can monitor the area.
