WOODLAWN - Residents are teaming up with the 47th Precinct after a dog run at Van Cortlandt Park is continuing to be vandalized.

According to residents, fences have been torn down and signs have been ripped off several times since it was built in 2009.

Since the Department of Parks and Recreations says it doesn?t have money to make repairs, residents have been using their own money to restore the fences.

Residents say they are working with police to put up a camera and lights to try to put a stop to the damage.
