THE BRONX - Bronx residents sang, danced and waved their flags proudly in the annual Dominican Day parade this Sunday.

Hundreds of residents marched through the streets wearing colorful costumes. Many more stood and watched as they cheered and waved.

Residents also celebrated in the weeks leading up to the parade with a gala dinner, street festivals and other events. Many said they were proud to showcase their heritage in their borough.
