THE BRONX - Dominican pride week kicks off in the Bronx today with festivities leading up to the 21st Annual Gran Parada Dominicana de El Bronx.

Bronx Borough President Rubén Díaz, Jr. and parade committee directors Felipe Febles and Rosa Ayala announced the celebrations.

The Bronx Dominican Day Parade will take place on Sunday, July 25 from East Tremont to 167th Street. The parade is the grand finale of a series of events celebrating Dominican heritage in the Bronx.
