THE BRONX - A massive Bronx gang takedown this morning nabbed more than 60 suspected members of a Bloods affiliate.

The courtroom was packed earlier with family members of alleged members of the “Mac Ballas,” a gang affiliated with the Bloods. There were more than a dozen defense attorneys present, as well as five assistant district attorneys.

At least 15 suspects were arraigned Wednesday.  More are expected to be arraigned tomorrow.

The alleged members are facing a 109-count indictment, with charges that include conspiracy to commit murder, narcotics trafficking and other offenses.

One of the smoking guns in the case is a CD containing audio recordings from various surveillance operations in the two-year investigation.
