THE BRONX - Valhalla Drive residents who have been complaining about a drainage issue on the street are finally getting the help they've requested. Department of Environmental Protection crews arrived this morning to install a catch basin to help eliminate stagnant water. Residents say a big puddle would form every time it rained. They reached out to News 12 The Bronx after they said nothing was being done about the issue. DEP officials say about 80 feet of piping will be installed to link the only drainage sewer on the block to the catch basin. The project is expected to be finished by Tuesday.Water problem a drain on Valhalla Drive residentsValhalla Drive residents blast draining system
