THE BRONX - Drivers may no longer have to empty their wallets if they're running on empty thanks to a seasonal drop in the price of gas.

According to AAA, the national average for a regular gallon is at $3.71 after falling steadily for the past month. The price still remains 25 cents higher than it was at this time last year.

Local drivers say they'll continue to shop around for stations with the best prices. Many cabbies also complain that they're still spending a big chunk of their paychecks on daily fill ups.
