THE BRONX - Someone sprayed graffiti on two signs on the Cross Bronx Expressway near the George Washington Bridge two weeks ago, and drivers say they want it cleaned up.

Some residents fear the obstructed signs will lead to accidents, especially when people who aren't familiar with the area drive through.

News 12 drove by the signs to get a look at how distracting the defacement actually is.

The Department of Transportation says it is aware of the graffiti and will remedy the situation.
