THE BRONX - Police say two people were captured on surveillance video stealing a laundry money card machine from a Hoe Avenue building.

According to police, a bearded man in his 30s and a female accomplice took the machine out of 947 Hoe Ave. on May 30. Tenants who pay cash to wash their clothes say they've been forced to use a nearby Laundromat because a replacement machine will only take credit cards.

Police are urging anyone with information about the theft to contact them at 1-800-577-TIPS. Tips can be submitted anonymously.
