East Tremont Ave. residents ticketed for litter

THE BRONX - Neighbors on East Tremont Avenue say they are being punished for leaving trash on their property that other people left behind.

Neighbors near a bus stop have received several tickets for litter, but they say bus riders and other commuters throw garbage in their yard. One resident claims she's fought every ticket but was still fined.

Some bus riders agree that commuters should dispose of their trash in a way to prevent residents from paying $100 fines.
