THE BRONX - A group of New York City teachers is taking to the airwaves to deliver a message to Albany on new teacher evaluations.

Educators 4 Excellence launched a 30-second TV blitz calling on state lawmakers to put in place a meaningful evaluation system.

The ad comes after the city and the United Federation of Teachers (UFT) failed to reach a deal on evaluations last month, costing its schools $250 million in state funding.
