THE BRONX - Police say Edward Malina, 19, was shot and killed near 666 East Tremont Ave. Friday night.

Malina was pronounced dead on arrival at Saint Barnabas Hospital. He was shot in the torso.

No arrests have been made. Police say the investigation is ongoing.

Neighbors told News 12 The Bronx that Malina was a new father and well-known in the neighborhood.
