THE BRONX - A police officer in the Bronx is among the more than 60 people injured during Sunday's train derailment.

A family member says Elsie Rodriguez always takes the Metro-North to work at the borough's 40th Precinct from her home in Connecticut.

Twelve of the 63 hurt were taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital, including Rodriguez, who is in stable condition and is expected to be released soon.

Emergency Room Director Dr. David Listman says none of the patients have injuries that are life-threatening, and some have already been sent home.

Four people were killed when the commuter train jumped the tracks near the Spuyten Duyvil station.
