THE BRONX - Fire burned through a strip of businesses on Prospect Avenue Tuesday afternoon.

EMS officials say 60 firefighters rushed to the scene, just north of East 160th Street, around 1 p.m.

They had the fire under control within an hour, but at least one person was injured. The victim was treated at the scene.

It was not immediately clear what sparked the flames.
