A former boxing titleholder from the Bronx was dealt a painful blow when he returned home and discovered his middleweight championship belt was stolen.Police sources

THE BRONX - A former boxing titleholder from the Bronx was dealt a painful blow when he returned home and discovered his middleweight championship belt was stolen.

Police sources tell News 12 The Bronx that Iran Barkley's green-and-gold belt was taken from inside his home at 2645 Third Ave. on Oct. 28.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the theft to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
